Savage Girls stormed into Miami with one thing on their mind-FUN! The weekend started with registration, Savage Icon, Lindsay Messina's Model Seminar followed by the Savage Girl photo shoot. All the girls wore their Savage Pink Bikinis and were treated to their own media event. All this fun and the show wasn't even starting until 24 hours later! The girls were scheduled for individual and group shoots throughout the weekend as well. The show was a two day extravanganza with Savage Girl Brooke Johnson winning the overall fitness title. Annette Perry won short class bikini for the second year in a row, Nicole Moneer won Bikini Classic and Jodi Harrison won Bikini Masters. We hope to have a gallery up soon of the weekend events which also included a wild annual Savage trip to Mangos on South Beach. Team spirit was alive and kicking all weekend! Brooke Johnson has been one of my favorite competitors for quite a long time. In 2008, Brooke and I decided to work together to get her to the top. Brooke has always done well but this year, she wanted the top spot. I called Brooke and said, "Brooke, do you trust me?- and do you like the movie "Braveheart"?. When Brooke said, "yes", I knew this would be a winning year for her. Brooke came to Boston and we worked together to make this vision a reality. In Miami, Brooke received perfect scores for her passionate, jampacked inspirational performance and came home with the title of Fitness Universe champion! Annette Perry walked away with the Bikini Universe short class win for the second year in a row as well as Fitness Runner-up. Annette is coming off her best year yet after winning the Fitness Atlantic as well as the NPC New England Bikini championships. Our versatile "Nettie" is preparing for the Fall season and on her way to fitness stardom!

Savage girl Annette Perry is on a winning streak this year. Winning the Fitness Atlantic several weeks ago and now capturing the first ever NPC Bikini title at the NPC Jay Cutler show, is a great way to start the year. Annette is receiving a wide variety of media attention with these two wins and the future looks bright for this Savage veteran. Savage star Kim Pearson rocked the Bikini America World Championships with her "Deal or No Deal" Sportswear outfit. People actually thought she was an actual "Deal or No Deal Model" from the famous television show. Kim, in real life, is a pre-school teacher! This rising star is part of our SPT program, as she is also a fitness competitor in addition to being a bikini competitor. "I love the online program as it has helped me set a track for healthy balanced eating and specific training which has improved and enhanced my overall conditioning" says Kim. Lori Harder is on her way to stardom in the figure and bikini world. She is a Savage Ambassador for Minnesota and a staff member at Chicago's CAMP SAVAGE, Lori is quickly becoming recognized as a top fitness model. In her second year of competition, this Savage sister has either won or placed high in all national events. Her winning smile and gorgeous physique is the perfect blend of the "desired look" in today's natural fitness world.

Savage girl Lindsay Messina is gracing the cover of Oxygen Magazine a second time in less than three months. Her refreshing new photo shoot, at the recent Fitness America World Championships in Las Vegas, was the talk of the town, that weekend. Oxygen photographers brilliantly captured that charismatic personality that makes Lindsay so original and such a star. Lindsay is going to be a part of some exciting 2009 ventures within the Savage Team and as always, she is also on staff for CAMP SAVAGE and the upcoming Model Seminar weekend.
